About Auburn Primary Care
Richard Schlossberg, MD & Trina McMillan, APRN
A life-long Georgia resident, Dr. Schlossberg
graduated from
both the University of Georgia and the Medical College of
Georgia. After completing three years of post graduate
training
at Atlanta Medical Center, Dr. Schlossberg founded Auburn Primary Care
in 1999. He is a fellow in the American Academy of Family
Physicians and is Board Certified in the specialty of Family
Practice. Dr. Schlossberg holds staff privileges at
Barrow Regional Medical Center and Gwinnett Medical Center.
Dr.
Schlossberg serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor at the
Philadelphia College of Medicine and in connection with that position
is the Family Medicine Director at Barrow Regional Medical Center.
His hobbies include being a mixed martial arts and boxing
ringside physician, supporting University of Georgia football, as well
as fishing. He is married, has two children,
and resides in the community.
Auburn Primary Care’s nurse practitioner, Trina McMillan, received a
Bachelor of Nursing degree from
Georgia Southern University. After working in hospital and
outpatient surgery settings, she attended Graduate School at
Georgia State University. She received a Master of Science
degree
specializing in nursing. She has been certified by the
American Academy
of Nurse Practitioners as a Family Nurse Practitioner since
1997.
Prior to coming to Auburn Primary Care in 2008, Ms. McMillan worked in
multiple settings, including family practice, adolescent, and retail
health. She has two children, and is active in the community,
volunteering at schools and with student ministries at her church.
